Dear Friends,
As we prepare for a new year, I am inspired by people like YOU who make the Tanzania School Foundation’s work possible. 
Things at TSF continue to be busy and 2024 was no exception. It was another year of extraordinary volunteerism.
We had over 150 volunteers donating over 2,000 hours to support the Tanzania School Foundation in 2024.
Our 2025 volunteering calendar at Gillette Stadium is filling up.  This opportunity supports 50% of our programs, we couldn’t do what we do without the gift of time from our volunteers.

We are so grateful many of you have given your time and energy so we can continue making a difference in the lives of children in Tanzania.

Our 2024 accomplishments:

• Offered scholarships to 15 children in both primary school and secondary school.
• Managed our campus property (plans are in place for a sustainable future)
• Provided over 14,000 school meals to children in primary schools
• Provided 100 uniforms to school children.
• Donated over 200 notebooks, pencils and backpacks to school children in need.

I traveled to Tanzania two times this year, in March and again in November for three weeks. It was great to see some of sponsored students, visit some of the schools we support, spend time with our staff at our property, support our talented artisans and spend time seeing friends.

We look forward to supporting our long-time sponsored students, many who are entering secondary school. We have 13 students who we have been sponsoring for 7+ years. 
We will continue feeding students at local government schools and donating school supplies and uniforms to the neediest children when we can.

I am getting used to having two full time jobs. One does not take away from the other…(just takes away some sleep)  I would like to spend more of the year in Tanzania, but right now it makes more sense to do both and I have the energy to do so.  

Most of my early morning start with a conversation with someone in Tanzania. Our people on the ground in Tanzania are working hard to ensure our impact is great.  We are all dedicated to make lasting change in the lives of children in Tanzania.
